Mary Ann Claytor – Mary Ann worked as a public servant in the West Virginia State Auditor's Office for over twenty years before the sudden illness of her son forced her to leave her position. Mary Ann decided in 2015 that she could make a real difference in the lives of West Virginians. She decided to run for West Virginia State Auditor. And after a long primary campaign, Mary Ann made history when she defeated her opponents in a shocking upset and became the first African-American to win a statewide nomination in West Virginia. Though she didn't win in November, she discovered her passion for fighting for what was right for the people was stronger than ever. She has since continued her work as an advocate for the people of West Virginia.
Seth Strum – Seth was one of the first people to join the Mary Ann Claytor in December 2015. Mary Ann and Seth spent many hours brainstorming and strategizing while crisscrossing West Virginia on the campaign trail, and because of his hard work and dedication has since become one of Mary Ann's most trusted aids.
